Baby Basics Prenatal Education Groups for Spanish Speakers

Great news for our Spanish-speaking community! The Shawnee County Health Department is offering Baby Basics: Starting Well Prenatal Education Group, a free six-class course presented in Spanish by labor and delivery nurses from Stormont Vail Health.
Parents and caregivers will learn about:
- Infant care
- Breastfeeding and formula feeding
- Common pains, changes, and when to call the provider
- Pregnancy, labor, delivery—and what to expect after having a baby
At each class they’ll also receive a goody bag with diapers and other items related to that week’s lesson. Participants who attend all six classes also have a chance to win a car seat/stroller combo or a pack-and-play!
