This program for girls and their parent will address menstruation and other physical changes of puberty\, the emotional upheaval of adolescence and communication techniques for parent and daughter. \n \nFee: $25 for each parent/child duo; $12.50 for each additional sibling. DESCRIPTION:Boys experience puberty also and while usually starting later than girls\, the time in a boys life between the ages of 10-13 is filled with many physical and emotional changes. These changes are exciting\, but also are often puzzling\, sometimes embarrassing\, and usually challenging to a young adolescent. Join us for a discussion that will focus on the physiological changes of puberty\, the developmental tasks of early adolescence and ways to improve communication between boys and their parents. This class features a time for boys and their parents to be together but also have time for facilitated discussion separately. \n\n\n\nFee: $25 for each parent/child duo; $12.50 for each additional sibling. Payment is collected at class.
