Join us for Walk with a Doc where you can learn from an expert about the best ways to stay safe and active during the colder months. \n\n\n\nThis month\, Dr. Wael Khreiss\, a trauma and general surgeon at Stormont Vail Health\, will share essential tips on preventing slips and falls throughout the winter season and how you can prepare and reduce your risk. \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect \n\n\n\n\nA friendly and invigorating walk suitable for all fitness levels.\n\n\n\nThe opportunity to ask questions and get expert insights from our featured doc.\n\n\n\nA chance to meet and connect with like-minded individuals in your community.\n\n\n\nA fun\, supportive environment encouraging health and wellness.\n\n\n\n\nThe walk is free and open to everyone (no registration needed). Wear comfortable shoes and bring your water bottle to stay hydrated! If the weather is too cold or rainy\, we will move the walk inside Lee Arena. By learning how to STOP THE BLEED®\, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques. DESCRIPTION:Motherhood\, and parenting. Mother kissing her sleeping baby boy on cheek.\n\n\nOur childbirth classes are taught by experienced educators and are designed to help you and your support person feel more prepared for your labor and delivery experience. Learn about the stages of labor\, pain management tools\, breathing and relaxation techniques\, how to involve your support person\, and more! Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a pillow to help you feel more comfortable during breathing and relaxation exercises. It is ideal for this class to be completed one month to six weeks prior to your due date. \n\n\n\n\nThis class will be held in the Stormont Vail Health Pozez Education Center. Please enter through the main entrance of Stormont Vail Health. \nNote: Enrollment includes expectant mother and one support person.  This weekend class option will meet two days in a row (Jan. 18th & 19th) from 9 am to 1 pm each day to cover all content. \n\n\n\n
