The Shawnee County Health Department is offering Baby Basics: Starting Well Prenatal Education Group\, a free six-class course presented in Spanish by labor and delivery nurses from Stormont Vail Health. \n\n\n\nParents and caregivers will learn about: \n\n\n\n\nInfant care\n\n\n\nBreastfeeding and formula feeding\n\n\n\nCommon pains\, changes\, and when to call the provider\n\n\n\nPregnancy\, labor\, delivery—and what to expect after having a baby\n\n\n\n\nAt each class they’ll also receive a goody bag with diapers and other items related to that week’s lesson.
